 Finally, this is a photograph that I took looking west across the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge just after 8:00 o’clock in the evening on 7 May 2014. It was published as MetVUW.com’s Photo of the Day on Sunday, 25 May 2014, and – as I noted in my comments about the picture – “having experienced thunderstorms and torrential rain in Alabama and after avoiding a deadly tornado in Arkansas, I'm hoping that the large clouds on the horizon do not presage anything too dire for me when I drive to Texas tomorrow.” (This is the last picture in this album.) |
