Driskill Mountain, Louisiana |
 … my rental car, still thankfully in shade, near the Mt Zion Presbyterian church. I got back to my car at 11:25 am. My roughly 1.6 mile / 2 kilometre hike to the top of Driskill Mountain and back – plus all the time I spent taking photographs and at the summit – had taken me an hour and twenty-five minutes. It was time to head towards Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana. |
