 We stayed overnight in Estes Park on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The following morning – i.e., on Sunday, 28 June 2009 – I ran round Lake Estes on the Lake Estes Trail. This was the second time I'd run in Colorado, but possibly my first real run, because the previous time I'd run in the state my route had been round and round the parking lots at Denver International Airport. |
