 The first of two photostitch panoramas taken on the summit of Gannett Peak, this picture looks west at (from left to right) Split Mountain, G-4, Mount Whitecap, and Ladd Peak; down a valley containing lakes fed by the Baby Glacier; down a valley containing Scott Lake and immediately beyond it the delightfully-named (and, I’ve no doubt, accurately-named) Many Bug Lake; Desolation Peak; and I think the mountain on the right-hand edge of the picture is Rampart Peak. |
