 At 1:35 pm – four hours after we set out from the trailhead – we reached the cairn marking the spot where hikers heading towards Granite Peak leave the trail and turn right to head south-west across Froze-to-Death Plateau. Scott had stopped and waited for us, and in this picture is nearest the camera. |
