Climbing Granite Peak, Montana

On 26 July 2006, I reached the summit of Granite Peak, the highest mountain in Montana. It’s 12,799 feet / 3,901 metres above sea-level and is the tenth highest of the fifty US state highpoints. Granite Peak has been described as the third hardest of the state highpoints to climb. It was the fourth US state highpoint that I climbed.
