Climbing Granite Peak |

Towards the right-hand edge of the picture, part of Avalanche Lake can be seen below a Froze-to-Death Plateau tongue, and in the distance there’s Mt Wood, the second-highest mountain in Montana (its summit is 12,660 feet / 3,859 metres above sea-level). |
