 Two hours later, I stopped to take this picture of a much more dramatic mountain – namely, Pilot Peak (11,708 feet / 3,569 metres). It’s the pinnacle on the left; the mountain on the right is Index Peak (10,709 feet / 3,264 metres). They are in the Absaroka Range in northern Wyoming. |
