 We reached our campsite at 3:05 pm. The return journey had taken us four-and-a-quarter hours – ten minutes longer than our ascent! That’s because it was as hard coming down as it was going up (maybe even harder), and we were also tired. The whole trip had taken us almost exactly nine hours. Even the super-fit and fast Scott (on the left) looks tired in this picture. |
