Climbing Granite Peak |
 We reached the 12,799 foot / 3,901 metre summit of Granite Peak at 10:05 am. It had taken us just under four hours to get there from our campsite on the edge of Froze-to-Death Plateau – a net height gain of only about 799 feet / 243 metres, but a height gain that included some fairly challenging terrain. |
