Climbing Mt Hood

First attempt: By 3:00 am on Tuesday, 26 June 2007, we were at about 9,000 feet / 2,750 metres above sea-level. The temperature was noticeably colder and the snow was considerably more icy, so we paused on a small patch of frozen scoria to put on our crampons. This is a picture of Eric tightening his crampon straps.
