Climbing Mt Hood, Oregon

On 6 July 2009, Eric Hodge and I reached the summit of Mt Hood, the highest peak in Oregon. Although it's only the thirteenth highest of the US state highpoints, Mt Hood is often classified as the fifth hardest highpoint to climb. Eric and I first tried to climb the mountain together with Roger Marcus in 2007. Eric and Roger were successful but I wasn't, so Eric and I returned to Oregon two years later and Mt Hood became the seventh US state highpoint that I climbed (and the first that Eric climbed twice!).
