 First attempt: Eric and Roger roped up for the final section of the climb. Eric took the lead, and he and Roger climbed the south face of Mt Hood together. Eric took this photograph looking back – not only down onto Roger but also all the way down to Timberline (where the snow ends in the top right-hand corner of the picture). |
