Climbing Mt Hood |
 On Thursday evening, 9 July 2009, Eric and I took the Marcus family out for dinner. From left to right are Monica, Julia, Roger, self, Amanda and Eric. It was a very pleasant conclusion to a two-week road trip in North America, during which Eric and I had driven from Denver to Portland, tackled three US state highpoints (Mt Elbert, Colorado; Borah Peak, Idaho; and Mt Hood, Oregon) and successfully climbed two of them (Elbert and Hood). We'd also visited friends in four states – Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon. Work and home now beckoned. (This is the last picture in this album.) |
