 I got to the top of the ridge – the start of the Katahdin tablelands – at 9:50 am: exactly three hours after I set out from the Katahdin Stream trailhead. Baxter Peak, the summit of Mt Katahdin, is directly above the top left-hand corner of the plant growth sign. |
