 Hopefully, fragile alpine plants will, in due course, come to cover the previous path. Even though clouds continued to shroud Mt Katahdin’s south-eastern flanks, I was encouraged by the fact that at this stage of the morning – at 10:00 am – there was still a lot of clear blue sky both above me and above the summit of the mountain. |
