The Larapinta Trail, 2023 |
 Day 5 (Tuesday, 2 May 2023) – Section 12 of the Larapinta Trail (i.e., climbing Mt Sonder): Another painting – a new acquisition – in the Art Gallery of South Australia, also entitled Rutjipma (Mount Sonder), was this c. 1955 watercolour by Oskar Namatjira (1922-91) that he'd painted on wood, sinew and resin. Oskar was Albert Namatjira’s second son. |
