 Sunday, 20 October 1991 – From Gokyo to the foot of the Cho La pass: Heading up towards a ridgeline that we had to cross in order to get to the foot of the Cho La pass. The ridge was 5,130 metres feet above sea-level, and so – for the third day in a row – we went above the five thousand metre mark. |
