 Tuesday, 22 October 1991 – Based at our Lobuje East base camp: At base camp in the afternoon, Rod practised his knots – ironically, though, he was the member of the expedition who least needed to do so. Rod was an accomplished cross-country skier, and his snow-craft skills were clearly superior to everyone else’s. |
