 Friday, 25 October 1991 – From our Lobuje East base camp to Dingboche: Directly below Lobuje East, porters and yaks heading north. The hike from Lobuje village down to Dingboche took just under three hours. I noted in my diary that it was “a photographic feast and – much to my surprise – I used a whole roll of film.” |
