 Tuesday, 29 October 1991 – From Namche Bazar to Lukla: We left Namche Bazar at 9:05 am and started making our way back down towards the Dudh Kosi river and the Sagarmatha National Park’s Jorsalle gate. On the way, I stopped at the appropriately named Everest View Tearooms and took a final photograph of the summit pyramid of Mt Everest and the Nuptse ridge. |
