 Wednesday, 30 October 1991 – From Lukla to Kathmandu: Our first task once we’d got back to Kathmandu was to return the climbing equipment we’d hired. After that, I went back to the Hotel Kathmandu to shave and shower. I took the ‘before’ picture (on the left) of myself; Jon took to the ‘after’ photo, which is an altogether better picture on several scores. |
