After the expedition: On behalf of all nine of us, Eric Hodge sent an agreed-upon letter to World Expeditions, detailing the many problems we had experienced. Not too surprisingly, given the glaring inadequacies connected with the running and management of the expedition, the company fessed-up and less than three months after I returned to New Zealand, we were each offered (and accepted) a $1,000 refund that was paid in two separate $500 instalments. |
