 After travelling nearly six miles / ten kilometres north-east along VT-108, I turned left again and onto the Stowe Mountain Resort’s Scenic Toll Road. The phrase “Scenic Toll Road” struck me as being a classic instance of giving with the one hand (“Scenic”) while taking away with the other (“Toll”). |
