 While I was in Grand Rapids, I also went for a 66-minute run on paths on the banks of the Grand River, and Michigan thus became the 50th state of the United States in which I have been for a run of at least five miles / eight kilometres. The first state I ran in was Minnesota: that was in May 1985, so my running feat certainly can’t be called a “swifty fifty”! |
