Mt Davis, Pennsylvania

On Pennsylvania’s state flag, it’s not a case of “horses for courses”, but is rather a case of horses representing agriculture, while the eagle at the top of the flag illustrates Pennsylvania’s loyalty to the United States, which is certainly fitting: the Declaration of Independence was signed in Pennsylvania in 1776; the United States constitution was written in Pennsylvania in 1787; and possibly the most crucial battle in the civil war that was fought to keep the United States intact took place in Pennsylvania in 1863.
