Mt Davis, Pennsylvania

Prior to 2016, I’d visited Pennsylvania on several occasions, but had spent my time mainly in the state’s two biggest cities, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. In 2016, though, I began my visit to Pennsylvania by going to the capital city, Harrisburg, in order to see the state’s impressive capitol building. When President Theodore Roosevelt opened the Pennsylvania state capitol in 1906, he said, “This is the handsomest building I ever saw.” |
