 On Sunday, 10 February 2013, Heather and I drove from Wellington via Whanganui and Raetihi to the Tongariro National Park. This is a photo of Heather and our new car (our very new car: it was only five days old!) below cloud-covered Mt Ruapehu, 2,797 metres / 9,176 feet above sea-level and the highest mountain in the North Island of New Zealand. |
