The Northern Circuit |
 My hiking boots were the sole victim of our walk. They had served me superbly since 2009 on the Heaphy, Kepler, and Rakiura tracks in New Zealand; on the Overland track and on Bimberi Peak and Mts Kosciuszko, Bogong, and Bartle Frere in Australia; on Kings, Borah, Wheeler, Humphreys and Boundary Peaks and Mt Whitney in the USA; on the Camino de Santiago in Spain; and on tracks and trails in Brittany and the Luberon in France. I'm pretty sure I got my money's worth wearing them. This photo marks not only the end of my boots, but also the end of this web-album. (This is the last picture in this album.) |
