The Northern Circuit |
 Heather and I set out on the Northern Circuit “Great Walk” at 9:10 am on Monday, 11 February, and walked through fields of invasive heather, heading north-east along what’s also known as the Mangatepopo track in the general direction of Mt Ngauruhoe (1,967 metres / 6,453 feet). |
