Portuguese Caminos de Santiago |
 Day 8 (Wednesday, 4 October 2017) – Valença to Porriño (21.7 kilometres / 13.5 miles): Walking along the banks the Lauro river on the outskirts of Porriño. The pair nearest the camera were a mother and roughly 11-year-old daughter who’d set out from Valença to walk to Santiago carrying all their equipment. The young girl was tired and had sore feet when we came across them: it looked like it was going to be a tough walk for them. |
