 Day 8 (Wednesday, 4 October 2017) – Valença to Porriño (21.7 kilometres / 13.5 miles): While we were walking beside the western banks of the Lauro river, I was thrilled to see a kingfisher – with beautifully bright teal, cyan, and burnt orange feathers – perched on a branch at the water’s edge. |
