 At 8:30 am, we loaded our gear into a trailer and hopped on a bus that would take us to Paradise, the Mt Rainier National Park headquarters, which are situated at 5,420 feet / 1,652 metres above sea-level on the lower slopes of the southern side of the mountain. |
