Climbing Mt Rainier |
 Melissa Arnot, Eric Hodge and I left Camp Muir at 12:10 am on Wednesday morning, 4 July 2007. In the darkness, we made our way across the top of the Cowlitz glacier, up Cathedral Gap, and on to the Ingraham Flats, where – at 1:30 am – we paused at 11,200 feet / 3,413 metres for a rest and a drink. Melissa looks cold in this picture: that’s because it was cold! |
