The Rakiura Track |
 On Wednesday, 18 January 2012 the day after Jiff Stewart, Heather, and I finished walking the Kepler Track we drove from Te Anau to Bluff. This is a picture of our car at the southern terminus of State Highway 1, which has been described as the longest and most significant road in New Zealand. State Highway 1 goes all the way from Bluff (at the southern end of the South Island) to Cape Reinga (at the northern tip of the North Island). |
