Climbing Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa

From the ridge between Snowdon and Garnedd Ugain, there are superb views looking down and east. Halfway up the picture and about a quarter of the way in from the left, the junction of the Pyg Track and the Miners’ Track is clearly visible. The Pyg Track heads off to the left and sidles round the flanks of Crib Goch, the 921 metre- / 3,021 feet-high summit of which can be seen near the top left-hand corner of the photograph; while the Miners’ Track drops down to Llyn Glaslyn (namely, the lake in the centre of the picture) before heading down to Llyn Llydaw.
