Climbing Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa,
the highest mountain in Wales

On Friday morning, 11 September 2015, Heather and I set out to climb Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa (1,085 metres / 3,560 feet), the highest mountain in Wales. Heather decided to stop when we reached the ridge separating Snowdon and Garnedd Ugain (the second-highest peak in Wales), but I continued the hike to the summit of Snowdon and reached it twelve minutes later.
