Climbing Mt Taranaki |
 September 2008: Jayden had already left us, so after Hinrich, Rob, and Scott set off to traverse the mountain, there were only three of us left. Steve, Lorraine, and I set out to do a small climb near the hut before we returned to the North Egmont visitor centre to collect both cars and drive them round to the southern side of the mountain to meet the traversing trio. This is a picture I took of Steve and Lorraine while we were making our way up towards the flat snow-crest that’s on the horizon directly above Steve. |
