Taum Sauk Mountain

After putting my camera on a small tripod, I took a photograph of myself on top of Missouri. The summit of Taum Sauk Mountain is 1,772 feet / 540 metres above sea-level. It’s the 41st highest of the fifty US state highpoints, and – as I’m indicating with my fingers – it was the 25th US state highpoint I’d either climbed or visited: I was thus at the half-way mark of my attempt to visit all fifty US state highpoints.
