 HOLIDAYS – Magoebaskloof and the Ebenezer Dam: One of Bobby Roberts’ colour slides of another Sharpie coming into shore after sailing on the Ebenezer Dam. I cannot recall who the people in the yacht were, but sixty years after this photograph was taken, it still amazes me that none of the four children and neither of the two adults on the yacht was wearing a life-jacket. Of course, cars didn’t have seatbelts in those days either! |
