Whanganui Journey |
 We took the canoes off the trailer, put them on the sandy banks of the river, and packed all the supplies we would need for our three-day journey into them. Jono then briefed us about the art of paddling one’s own canoe. In this picture he’s explaining to Heather that she would be sitting in the front of the green canoe and that I’d be sitting at the back and steering it. For his part, Jono would be in the red canoe. |
