Climbing White Butte |
 This mailbox is, in effect, the White Butte trailhead. The North Dakota highpoint is on private land, and the sign below the mailbox says (or, more accurately, probably used to say): “For continued access [to the] highpoint, donations in mailbox. Thank you.” The White Butte trailhead is approximately 3,100 feet / 945 metres above sea-level. |
