Climbing White Butte |
 However, we didn’t see a rattlesnake while we were on White Butte. The only rattlesnake I’ve ever seen is this one – which I photographed in 2009 in the San Diego zoo. I still don’t know whether I’m pleased or disappointed not to have seen a rattlesnake during the climb. |
