 Somewhere in this grove is Methuselah, the oldest tree of all – it’s more than 4,600 years old. As the Methuselah Walk guidebook explains, “It is unmarked for its protection, but it continues to survive and even produce viable seeds just like many of its 3,000 and 4,000 year old neighbours. Greater adversity grows stronger trees, century after century after century.” |
