Climbing Mt Whitney, California |
On 19 July 2012, Eric Hodge and I climbed Mt Whitney. Its summit is 14,497 feet / 4,419 metres above sea-level. Mt Whitney is not only the highest mountain in California, it’s also the highest mountain in the contiguous 48 states. It was the ninth US state highpoint that Eric had climbed, and my thirteenth. |
