Climbing Mt Whitney |
 As we climbed, clouds continuously rolled over and around the crest of the mountain, more often than not covering the summit. We met two parties of climbers coming down the mountain: the first had abandoned their attempt to get to the summit after overnight lightning; the second had reached the summit but had seen nothing from it as a result of the clouds. |
