Woodall Mountain, Mississippi |
 A few days after visiting Woodall Mountain, I returned to Mississippi. On the advice of John Fitch, I went to see Natchez. This photograph of the bridge at Natchez that spans the Mississippi river (and links the state of Mississippi with Louisiana on the far shore) was taken on Saturday evening, 3 May, while I was enjoying dinner at a hotel on the cliffs above the river. |
