 ... we had to examine our Woodroffe war wounds. This is a photo of part of one of Eric’s legs. Despite the fact that he’d worn long trousers and gaiters on Mt Woodroffe, spinifex pricks had managed to draw blood literally hundreds of times. This is visual proof that I’ve not been exaggerating the effects of spinifex – and with that jab I’ll end this album! (This is the last picture in this album.) |
