Climbing Mt Woodroffe |
In May 2013, my Canberra-based climbing partner, Eric Hodge, and I set out to climb Mt Woodroffe / Ngarutjaranya, the highest mountain in South Australia. However, because our base for the climb was Uluru / Ayers Rock, which is in the Northern Territory – and not in South Australia – I was unable to get any photographs of the South Australian state flag with its distinctive magpie in a yellow circle, so this picture that I took some years earlier of the state’s flag above the South Australian parliament will have to do instead. |
