 Day 5 (Monday, 8 September 2025) – Scraggane Pier to Camp (An Cam): At 5:30 pm we reached this point, where we were supposed to leave our second detour and resume walking along the beach. As this photograph shows, the beach was completely submerged, so we had to go on a third detour, which sadly meant walking for a while on the N86 – a “national primary road” – and it was by far the busiest road we had to walk on during our seven-day hike.
